Course Application Requirements
- Being over 18 years of age,
- To be at least primary school or primary school graduate and to document this,
- Signing and declaring the health declaration form stating that there is no obstacle to lifeguard training (Additional sentence: 12/5/2016 -Tal/4. art.) (If a disabled person is evaluated within the framework of the criteria specified in the guide prepared by the Health Board of the Federation and a health suitability report is obtained from the specialist (Federation Health Board) physician related to the disability specified in the guide prepared by the Health Board of the Federation, he/she can apply for lifeguarding or lifeguard instructor),
- To be able to perform the skills specified in paragraph (2) of Article 31 of these Regulations.
- Being over 18 years of age,
- To be at least primary school or elementary school graduate and to document this,
- Having a bronze lifeguard certificate,
- To declare by signing the health declaration form that there is no obstacle to lifeguard training.
- To be 19 years of age,
- To be at least primary school or primary school graduate and to document this,
- To declare by signing the health declaration form that there is no obstacle to lifeguard training,
- To have a silver lifeguard certificate,
- To have at least 3 star diver certificate of the Federation,
- To have worked as a silver lifeguard for at least 6 months and to submit the work notification document approved by the workplace.
- Graduated from at least high school and equivalent school and documenting this,
- To fulfill the health conditions specified in Article 30 of these Instructions,
- Having a golden lifeguard certificate,
- Crimes against the security of the State, crimes against the constitutional order and the functioning of this order, crimes against state secrets and espionage, embezzlement, extortion, bribery, bribery, theft, looting, even if they have been pardoned, or imprisonment for more than six months, except for crimes of negligence and sentences that have been converted into alternative sanctions to short-term imprisonment or suspended except for the following crimes, Not being convicted of disgraceful crimes such as fraud or crimes against sexual immunity, prostitution, manufacture and trade of drugs and stimulants, use, facilitation of use, purchase, acceptance or possession of drugs and stimulants for use, or crimes that offend honor and dignity or bid rigging, bid rigging, bid rigging, laundering assets derived from crime, smuggling, tax evasion and unfair acquisition of property,
- To submit a criminal record certificate,
- Not to have been sentenced to a ban or disqualification from competitions for six months at a time or for a total of one year in the last three years from the penal boards of the General Directorate of Youth and Sports or the disciplinary board of the Federation according to the Penal Regulation on Amateur Sports Branches of the General Directorate of Youth and Sports published in the Official Gazette dated 7/1/1993 and numbered 21458,
- According to the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation Lifeguarding Regulations and Instructions, the certificate has not been canceled or there is no unpaid fine,
- To have worked as a golden lifeguard for at least 6 months and to submit the work notification document approved by the workplace.
- To be 22 years of age,
- To be at least a high school graduate and to document this,
- To fulfill the health conditions specified in Article 30 of these Instructions,

- Having a bronze lifeguard instructor certificate,
- To submit a criminal record certificate,
- Not to have received a penalty of six months at a time or a total of one year ban or disqualification from competitions in the last three years from the penal boards of the General Directorate of Youth and Sports or the disciplinary board of the Federation according to the Penal Regulation on Amateur Sports Branches of the General Directorate of Youth and Sports published in the Official Gazette dated 7/1/1993 and numbered 21458,
- According to the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation Lifeguarding Regulations and Instructions, the certificate has not been canceled or there is no unpaid fine,
- Having worked as a registered instructor in an authorized lifeguard training institution and organization as a bronze instructor for at least 2 years and having signed an information registration form by giving bronze or silver lifeguard courses to at least 80 people.
- Being a Turkish citizen,
- Have at least a primary or secondary school diploma,
- At least six months after obtaining the three-star diver certificate and having made at least 50 approved dives and documenting this with a dive logbook,
- To fulfill the health conditions specified in Article 19 of these Instructions,
- To know a foreign language determined by the Federation and to be successful in the exam to be opened by the Federation,

Not to have been penalized more than six months at a time or more than one year in total within this period, provided that it has been within the last three years according to the General Directorate of Youth and Sports - Amateur Sports Branches Penal Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 07/1/1993 and numbered 21458 and the Federation Disciplinary or Penal Instructions,
- Not having a certificate canceled or an unpaid fine according to the Underwater Sports, Lifeguarding, Water-Skiing and Crawler Swimming Federation Instrument Diving Regulations and Turkish Underwater Sports Federation Equipped Diving Regulations and Instructions,
Requirements for one and two star instructor examinees
- Instructor candidates who have received instructor training from an authorized three-star instructor of a diving organization may participate in one and two star diving instructor exams.
- The certified written document of the three-star instructor who has received training from the diving organization and a copy of the documents specified in the relevant articles of this instruction approved by the diving organization
- The candidate submits the examination payment document deposited to the bank account of the Federation to the Federation before the examination date.
- Candidates shall also submit the health conditions and required specialization documents specified in this instruction to the Federation before the exam.
Those whose documents are incomplete or inappropriate are not allowed to take the exam. This situation is determined with a report.
1 Star Diver Course;
- To be over 14 years of age, for those under 18 years of age, to have the consent of their parents,
- Know how to swim,
To fulfill the health conditions specified in - Article 18 of this Instruction.
2 Star Diver Course,
- To be 15 years of age, for those under 18 years of age, to have a parental consent document,
- To fulfill the health conditions specified in Article 18 of these Instructions,
- Being a star diver or an equivalent certificate approved by the Federation
To have made at least 20 approved dives after obtaining a one star diver certificate or an equivalent certificate approved by the Federation and to document this with a dive logbook.
3 Star Diver Course,
- Being over 18 years of age,
- To fulfill the health conditions specified in Article 18 of these Instructions,
- Two star diver or an equivalent certificate approved by the Federation,
- To have made at least 50 approved dives after obtaining a two-star diver certificate or an equivalent certificate approved by the Federation and to document this with a dive logbook,
- At least a primary or elementary school diploma,
- To have the first aid, navigation and deep diving expert diver certificate of the Federation.
Over 14 years of age
It is a program that anyone who does not have a serious health problem can participate.
Junior Open WaterDiver up to 15 years old,
Over the age of 15 you can get the Open WaterDiver certificate.
The program for both certificates is the same.
