One star diving instructor:

Must receive training from an authorized diving organization of the Federation and must be successful in the instructor exam organized by the Federation. He/she is authorized to give one star and two star diver trainings, to make exams, to evaluate, to sign the information record forms of the successful ones, provided that he/she is registered in a diving organization that has received an authorization certificate from the Federation. It is obliged to provide the students with the best training in accordance with the Federation's training system. He/she can make a promotional dive. He/she is primarily responsible for the planning of the dive and the safety of the divers in all dives made by the diving organization he/she is in charge of. When the instructor is given a report of partial and/or total inability to dive, he/she can give theoretical training but cannot give underwater training and sign diver documents.

Two-star diving instructor:

Must receive training from a diving organization affiliated to the Federation and must be successful in the instructor exam organized by the Federation. In addition to the powers of a one-star diving instructor; It is authorized to open an authorized diving organization, to provide three-star diver training, to conduct exams, to evaluate and to sign the information registration forms of successful divers. They can participate in expert diver instructor training and can give expert diver training when they receive a certificate. Can be assigned to supervise diving organizations on behalf of the Federation. They are obliged to make and implement dive planning in the best way in all dives made by the diving organization they are in charge of. They are primarily responsible for the planning of the dive and the safety of the divers in all dives they perform. When the instructor is reported as partially and/or completely unable to dive, he/she can give theoretical training but cannot give underwater training and sign diver documents. These instructors are authorized to give specialty trainings that do not require diving, to have their exams taken, to evaluate them and to sign the information record forms of those who are successful.

Requirements for one and two star instructor examinees

Instructor candidates who have received instructor training from an authorized three-star instructor of a diving organization can participate in the one and two star diving instructor exams. The candidate submits to the Federation the certified written document of the three-star instructor who has received training from the diving organization and a copy of the documents specified in the relevant articles of this instruction approved by the diving organization and the examination payment document deposited to the bank account of the Federation before the exam date. Candidates also submit the health conditions and required specialization documents specified in this instruction to the Federation before the exam. Those whose documents are incomplete or inappropriate are not allowed to take the exam. This situation is determined with a report.

The system to be applied in the one and two star instructor exam

One and two star diving instructor exams consist of written exams, practical exams including practical training subjects and practical exams including subject expression and expression techniques. Theoretical, written and practical exams are held separately. Candidates who are successful in the theoretical, written exam can take three practical exams. Candidates who fail in three practical exams must take the theoretical written exam again. One star diving instructor exam success score average is at least 70 out of 100, two star diving instructor exam success score average is at least 80.

Candidates under examination;

• a) One, two and three star diver training subjects and course materials,
• b) One and two star instructor candidates can benefit from one and two star diver training programs and two star instructor candidates can benefit from three star diver training programs.,
• c) Practical skills of one, two and three star divers,
• d) From the theoretical and practical skills of the specializations that they receive compulsorily at their level,
• e) Lecture and application techniques in practical and theoretical subjects,
• f) They are responsible for the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation Equipped Diving Regulations and related Instructions.

At the end of the exam, the exam board prepares a report including the grades and exam minutes of all candidates participating in the exam and submits it to the Federation Presidency. The names of those who are successful are notified in writing to the relevant diving organization. The diving organization organizes the information record forms of those who are successful in the exam and sends them to the Federation. The Federation sends the instructor certificates that it will issue according to the information registration form to the relevant person by informing the diving organization.
