MEXICAN HAT AND COLD WATER CAVE:
Three hundred metres past Afkule cave and start diving in front of the steep walls on the left side. If you do not know the exact entrance, it will be quite difficult to find the starting point. When you start diving just in front of the wall and descend to 20 metres, you will see the entrance of the shrimp cave. When the sea water temperature exceeds 23-24 degrees, shrimps migrate to deeper waters.
The cave cavity and entrance starts at 24-25 and rises up to 17 m. after 10 m. of entrance. Since the bottom is quite narrow, it is recommended to enter one by one. If you are diving at the right time, the shrimps are magnificent. When you direct the light of your torch, they frantically run to the nooks and crannies of the cave and their egg-filled bellies shine blue in the light. You can exit the cave before you fill your bottom time and after turning right and travelling 100-120m. you will see the entrance of the COLD WATER CAVE, the entrance of which is 10m. deep. The cave is like a tunnel. Following the 6-7 m. wide white sandy bottom, after 20 m. you can slowly surface by feeling the coolness of the fresh water, take off your mask and breathe the fresh air. At the end of the cave there is a small air cavity where you can see the stalactites hanging from the ceilings and enjoy the different shades of blue in the daylight seeping through the entrance. When you turn left at the exit of the cave, you can pass through a multicoloured arch and after a safety wait, you can go to your boat.
Level: Only suitable for experienced divers.
